Walking
If you are in Thamel, the popular tourist area, head south on the main street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Pashupati Road. Turn left onto Pashupati Road and continue walking until you reach the Narayanhiti Path. Turn right, and you will find the Narayanhiti Royal Palace on your left-hand side.
Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop in Thamel. Take a local bus heading towards Ratna Park. Once you reach Ratna Park, alight and walk towards the northern side of the park. Continue walking straight until you reach Narayanhiti Path. The Narayanhiti Royal Palace will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you can rent a bicycle, start from Thamel and head towards the Durbar Square. From Durbar Square, follow the road south until you reach the intersection with Pashupati Road. Turn left onto Pashupati Road and then right onto Narayanhiti Path. The Narayanhiti Royal Palace will be on your left.
Rickshaw
You can hire a rickshaw from any location in Thamel. Simply tell the driver 'Narayanhiti Palace' and they will take you there directly. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
