Bus
From Kathmandu, head to Ratna Park Bus Station. Look for buses heading to Bhaktapur. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you reach Bhaktapur, alight at the main bus stop. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards Taumadhi Square. The Nyatapola Temple will be visible as you approach the square.
Microbus
Go to the New Bus Park in Kathmandu. Board a microbus that is heading to Bhaktapur. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Taumadhi Square where Nyatapola Temple is located.
Rickshaw

If you are staying nearby in Bhaktapur, you can walk to Taumadhi Square. From wherever you are, head towards the town center and follow signs pointing to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Taumadhi Square is adjacent to it, and you will easily find the Nyatapola Temple once you arrive at the square.
