Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Thamel, walk east on Tridevi Marg until you reach the intersection with Durbar Marg. Turn left onto Durbar Marg and continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the Nepal Tourism Board on your right. At the Nepal Tourism Board, turn right onto Tanka Prasad Ghumti Sadak. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Siddhartha Art Gallery on your left, located within the Babermahal Revisited premises.

  • Public Transport (Microbus)

    From Thamel, head to the nearest microbus station at Sorhakhutte. Take a microbus heading towards Ratna Park (look for the signs). Once you reach Ratna Park, get off and walk towards the Nepal Tourism Board. From there, follow Tanka Prasad Ghumti Sadak for about 5 minutes until you reach Siddhartha Art Gallery on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from Thamel and head to the main road, then take Durbar Marg straight. Keep riding down for about 20 minutes until you reach the Nepal Tourism Board. Take a right turn onto Tanka Prasad Ghumti Sadak and continue straight for 5 minutes. Siddhartha Art Gallery will be on your left. Make sure to follow traffic rules and watch out for pedestrians!

    From Thamel, you can hire a rickshaw. Tell the driver to take you to Babermahal Revisited, Tanka Prasad Ghumti Sadak. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, Siddhartha Art Gallery will be within the Babermahal premises.
