Walking
From the central area of Pashupatinath, head towards the main entrance of the Pashupatinath Temple. Once you reach the entrance, exit the temple complex and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Boudhanath Stupa area. You will pass by various local shops and eateries. The path will lead you directly to the stupa, which is hard to miss due to its large and iconic structure.
Local Bus
If you prefer using public transport, from Pashupatinath, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the Pashupatinath Temple. Look for a local bus heading to Boudhanath. The fare is typically around 30-50 NPR. Inform the conductor you want to get off at Boudhanath Stupa. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Boudhanath area, follow the signs to the stupa, which is within walking distance from where the bus drops you off.
Taxi or Rickshaw
For a more comfortable ride, you can hire a taxi or a cycle rickshaw from Pashupatinath to Boudhanath Stupa. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 200-400 NPR, depending on your bargaining skills. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Simply tell the driver to take you to Boudhanath Stupa, and they will know the way.
