    From Pashupatinath Temple, exit the temple complex and head south towards the Bagmati River. Cross the bridge over the river. Once you are on the other side, continue straight along the road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main road (New Road). This road will lead you toward Kathmandu Durbar Square. As you walk, you will pass local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Basantapur, which is the area where Kathmandu Durbar Square is located.

    If you prefer a faster option, you can take a local bus from Pashupatinath. Look for a bus heading towards Ratna Park or Basantapur. Once you board the bus, inform the conductor that you are heading to Basantapur, and he will let you know when to get off. The bus will drop you a short walk away from Kathmandu Durbar Square.
