Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Thamel, head east on Tridevi Marg until you reach the intersection with Pradarshani Marg. Turn left onto Pradarshani Marg and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with New Road. From there, turn right onto New Road and walk until you see the entrance to the Basantapur area. Once you enter Basantapur, continue along the main street until you reach Hanuman Dhoka Road. The Shree Kaal Bhairav Temple will be on your left side along Hanuman Dhoka Road.

    If you are starting from Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head towards the south through the main exit. Walk down the street towards Hanuman Dhoka Road. Once you reach Hanuman Dhoka Road, turn right, and you will find the Shree Kaal Bhairav Temple on your right side just a short walk down the road.
