If you're starting from the town of Arughat, drive towards Soti Khola. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. From Soti Khola, continue along the road to Machha Khola. After reaching Machha Khola, the road narrows and becomes more rugged, so proceed with caution. Continue driving to the village of Jagat, where you can park your vehicle. From Jagat, you will need to switch to trekking, as car access is limited beyond this point.

Take a local bus or jeep from Kathmandu to Arughat. This ride can take around 7-9 hours, depending on road conditions. Once in Arughat, you can either hire a private jeep to Soti Khola or catch a local bus. From Soti Khola, take another local bus or jeep towards Machha Khola. Once you reach Machha Khola, you will need to trek to reach Jagat. Prepare for a hike from Jagat to Samagaun, which can take about 5-7 hours depending on your pace.

From Jagat, begin your trek towards Samagaun. The trail is well-marked and takes you through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. The trek will take approximately 6-8 hours, depending on your fitness level. Once you reach Samagaun, you will be close to अमृत ताल. From Samagaun, head northwest for about 1-2 hours to reach अमृत ताल, which is situated at MG8H+F2.
