Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Namche Bazaar, near the Namche Bazaar market. Head south towards the main trail leading out of Namche. You will see a sign indicating the route to Deboche and Tengboche. Follow this trail, which will take you downhill and through a beautiful forested area. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction. Continue straight towards Deboche. The trail will lead you across a bridge over the Dudh Kosi river. After crossing the bridge, you will ascend slightly. Keep an eye out for the small signs pointing towards Deboche. After approximately 1 hour of walking from the junction, you will arrive in Deboche, where you can enjoy the stunning views and visit the local monastery.
