    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Namche Bazaar, locate the main square where the local market is held. Head south towards the Sagarmatha National Park entrance. Continue past the entrance and follow the trail that leads uphill. The path will be marked with signs pointing towards Everest Base Camp. After about 20 minutes of steady climbing, you'll reach a viewpoint offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Continue along the trail, which will lead you to the Namche Bazaar viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Khumbu region.
