From the center of Namche Bazaar, head southeast towards the main trail. Follow the signs for 'Phakding' or 'Namche to Lukla.' As you descend from Namche, you will pass through several small villages and beautiful landscapes. Keep walking for about 6-7 hours, enjoying the stunning views along the way. You will cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River. Make sure to take breaks and stay hydrated. After crossing the last bridge, you will see signs pointing to Phakding. Continue on the trail until you reach the village of Phakding.
