From Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Patan - Kathmandu Road). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk along it for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Nepal Vipassana Meditation Center Rd. Turn right onto Nepal Vipassana Meditation Center Rd and continue walking straight for another 10-15 minutes. You will see Budhanilkantha Temple on your left side along this road. The temple is situated at the base of the Shivalkharka hill, and you will easily spot its entrance.
