Walking
From the Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the Mahabouddha Temple. Continue walking along the narrow lanes until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the main road and continue towards the Bageshwori area. Look for signs pointing to Nagarkot, as the Geodetic Survey Tower is located in that direction. The tower is situated on a hilltop, so be prepared for a steep ascent. You may need to ask locals for the exact path as it can be a bit winding.

Rent a bicycle in Patan and head towards the Bageshwori area. Follow the main road leading out of Patan, and then take a right when you see signs for Nagarkot. The road will start to incline as you approach the tower. Be cautious as the roads can be narrow and steep. If you find the climb too challenging, you can park your bicycle at a nearby location and continue on foot.

From Patan, find a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur or Nagarkot. You can catch a bus from the Patan bus station. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Bageshwori area for the Nagarkot Geodetic Survey Tower.
