Walking
From Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the Patan Museum. Walk through the small streets until you reach the main road, Lagankhel. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Continue straight until you reach the bus stop at Lagankhel. Here, take a local bus heading towards Panauti or Dhulikhel. The bus will take you up to Simalchaur, a small village near Namo Buddha. Once you get off the bus, walk along Namobuddha Rd for about 15 minutes until you see the Namo Buddha Stupa on your left.
Cycling
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many shops in Patan. Start from Patan Durbar Square and head towards Lagankhel, following the same route as if you were walking. Once you reach Lagankhel, instead of taking a bus, continue cycling straight along the main road towards Swayambhunath. After about 6 kilometers, you will arrive at Simalchaur, where you can find signs for Namo Buddha. The cyclist-friendly roads will take you directly to the entrance of the Namo Buddha Stupa.
Local Bus
To get to Namo Buddha using public transport, walk to Lagankhel bus stop from Patan Durbar Square. Look for a local bus that is marked for Panauti or Dhulikhel. The bus ride will last approximately 30 minutes, and you will need to inform the conductor to drop you at Simalchaur. After getting off, follow the signs along Namobuddha Rd for about 15 minutes until you reach the Namo Buddha Stupa. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may vary throughout the day.
