Start from Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple). Exit the temple premises and head southeast towards the main street, which is the Patan Durbar Square area. From the main entrance of the Golden Temple, take a left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Kantipath). At this intersection, turn right. Continue walking along this road for about 5 minutes until you reach a small junction. At this junction, you will see a signboard indicating the direction to Oku Bahal. Take a left turn and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will pass by some local shops and cafes on your way. As you approach the Oku Bahal Rudra Varna Mahavihar, you will notice its distinctive architecture and the entrance gate.
