Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Lakeside area in Pokhara. Head east on the Prithvi Highway, following signs for Kaski. After approximately 8 km, take a right turn onto the road leading to the Chamere Gufa (Bat Cave). Drive for another 2 km until you reach the parking area near the cave entrance. Parking is available, but be mindful of any fees that may apply, typically around NPR 100. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the entrance of Chamere Gufa.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Lakeside, you can take a local bus heading towards Kaski. Buses leave frequently from the main bus stop. Inform the driver your destination is Chamere Gufa, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. The bus fare is usually around NPR 30. After getting off, you may need to walk about 15-20 minutes along the road towards the cave entrance. Follow the signs for Chamere Gufa.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Pokhara. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically costs between NPR 800 to NPR 1200 depending on your starting point. The taxi will drive you directly to the entrance of Chamere Gufa. Ensure to ask the driver to wait for you, as return taxis may not always be readily available.
