Travel Guide to Haredanda View Point

Getting There

• Car

  Start your journey from the center of Pokhara. Head southeast on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Baglung Highway). Continue straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection near Lakeside. Turn right onto Padeli Road. Follow Padeli Road for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Haredanda View Point. The road may become narrow and winding, so drive carefully. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation (Local Bus)

  From the Lakeside area in Pokhara, head to the local bus station, where you can find buses heading towards Sarangkot or Hardevi. Board one of these buses. The fare is usually around 30-50 NPR. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Padeli Road. Once you arrive at Padeli Road, you may need to walk about 1-1.5 kilometers to reach Haredanda View Point. Look for signs or ask locals for directions if necessary.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  You can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service from anywhere in Pokhara. Simply provide the driver with the destination: Haredanda View Point, located at 6WPX+WWM, Padeli Rd, Pokhara 33700. The fare may vary depending on your starting point but expect to pay around 500-1000 NPR. The taxi will take you directly to the viewpoint, where you can enjoy the stunning views of Pokhara Valley.

• Walking (from nearby areas)

  If you're staying near Padeli Road or in the Sarangkot area, you can opt to walk to Haredanda View Point. Start on Padeli Road and follow the path that leads towards the viewpoint. The distance is about 1-2 kilometers, and it may take around 30-40 minutes to walk, depending on your pace. This option allows you to enjoy the nature and scenery along the way.
