Getting There

    From Pokhara, head to the Tourist Bus Park located near the lakeside area. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Nayapul, which is the gateway to the Annapurna trekking routes. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Nayapul, you will begin your trek. Follow the path toward Birethanti, where you will need to register at the Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit checkpoint. Continue on the trail to Ghandruk, which will take around 4-6 hours. Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village and a great place to stop for the night if you wish. The next day, trek from Ghandruk to Machhapuchhare Base Camp, which is approximately a 6-8 hour trek.
