If you are driving to the Mardi Himal Trek, start from Pokhara, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. Take the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Kathmandu Highway) from Pokhara, and look for signs that direct you towards Lumle. Follow the road until you reach Lumle, from where you will need to take a smaller road leading to Lwang Ghalel. The journey from Pokhara to Lwang Ghalel via car should take about 1-1.5 hours. Keep in mind that parking is available in Lwang Ghalel, where you can park your vehicle before starting the trek.
