Getting There

Walking
From Lakeside, head south towards the Damside area. You can follow the main road along the Phewa Lake until you reach the Damside bus station. From there, continue on the Damside road until you reach the intersection at Kalika Mandir Trail. Turn left onto this trail, which leads directly to Maula Kalika. The trek will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.

Trekking
Alternatively, from the Lakeside area, you can take a trek directly up to Maula Kalika. Head towards the base of the hill where the temple is located. There are various trails leading up, with the main one starting near the lakeside park. Follow the trail steeply uphill, and it will lead you to the Maula Kalika temple in about 1 hour. Be prepared for a moderate trek.

Local Transport (Tuk-Tuk or Local Bus)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local tuk-tuk or bus from Lakeside to the Gaindakot area. Make sure to tell the driver that you are going to Kalika Mandir. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Gaindakot, follow the Kalika Mandir Trail leading upwards to reach Maula Kalika.
