Getting There

Walking
If you're staying near Lakeside, start at the Lakeside area and walk towards the north end of the lake. Follow the lakeside promenade until you reach the intersection at the end of the lake. Turn right onto the main road (Prithvi Highway) and walk for approximately 15-20 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Chhorepatan. Continue walking until you see a sign for the Tibetan Refugee Camp on your left. The camp should be visible from the road, and you can enter the premises.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the Lakeside area. Head towards the north end of the lake and follow the lakeside promenade. Once you reach the intersection at the end of the lake, turn right onto Prithvi Highway. Cycle for about 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Chhorepatan. This will take about 10-15 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Look for the Tibetan Refugee Camp on your left side.

From Lakeside, walk to the nearest bus station. Look for a bus that is heading towards Chhorepatan. The buses are usually marked with their destinations. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Chhorepatan stop and walk a short distance until you see the Tibetan Refugee Camp on your right.
