If you are traveling by car, start from Biratnagar, which is well-connected to other major cities in Province No. 1. Get on the East-West Highway (Mahendra Highway) heading towards the west. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left turn towards the Alipurduar Road. Drive for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach Tingling View Point. Be mindful of the local traffic rules and watch for signs directing you to the view point.
Public Transportation
To reach Tingling View Point using public transportation, first, take a local bus from Biratnagar to Itahari. Buses are frequent and the fare is around NPR 50-100. Upon reaching Itahari, transfer to a bus heading towards Alipurduar Road. This leg of the journey will cost you about NPR 150. After approximately an hour, ask the bus conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Tingling View Point. From there, you may need to walk about 1-2 kilometers or hire a local taxi for a small fee (around NPR 300) to reach the viewpoint.
