If you're traveling by car from anywhere in Province No. 2, start by heading towards the Siddhartha Highway (also known as the Pokhara Highway). This is the main road leading to Pokhara. Depending on your starting point, you may need to follow local roads to connect to the Siddhartha Highway. Once on the Siddhartha Highway, follow the signs to Pokhara. Upon approaching Pokhara, continue towards the Lakeside area, which is a popular tourist destination. Look for signs directing you to Tal Barahi Temple, which is located on an island in Phewa Lake. You may need to park your vehicle at one of the parking lots near the lake and take a short boat ride to the temple. Boat rides typically cost around NPR 300-500 per person for a round trip.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or a microbus from any major city in Province No. 2, such as Janakpur or Birgunj, to Pokhara. Buses leave frequently and the fare ranges from NPR 500 to NPR 1,000 depending on the type of service (local or tourist). Once you arrive at the Pokhara bus park, take a taxi or a local rickshaw to Lakeside. The fare to Lakeside from the bus park is approximately NPR 200-300. After reaching Lakeside, you can rent a boat from one of the many operators along the shore to reach Tal Barahi Temple, which will cost around NPR 300-500 per person for a round trip.
