A tiered pagoda basking in Himalayan views, the mountaintop Manakamana Temple dates back to the 17th century, but was heavily damaged by the 2015 earthquake. Despite the scaffolding, pilgrims still come here in droves. Visitors often sacrifice a goat or chicken in a gory pavilion behind the temple – goats even get a discounted one-way ticket up on the cable car! This makes for quite a mess on feast days. But don't worry, there is no tradition of sacrificing foreign tourists.

Pokhara Shanti Stupa or World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski, Nepal. Standing on top of the Anadu Hill, Shanti Stupa provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Fewa Lake. It is a perfect holiday place providing a clear view of the Himalayan range, Fewa Lake and Pokhara city. The hilltop provides a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. The pagoda is 7 kilometers from Mahendrapool, the major business spot in Pokhara.

The cave is said to be have been discovered in the 16th century. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout. The largest of these shrines is dedicated to Shiva.There is lighting but it's only a series of small light bulbs. While primarily a religious site, the cow is a statue over a Shiva lingam. It's being developed as a tourist attraction these days. Continuing on the 40 or so meters down the cave passing other small statues and shrines you'll come across the main Shiva temple which has a strict rule about no photography. Continue on past the temple to the second part of the cave which is about 140 meters in length. Here the walls open up and you can see some nice colors in the cave walls. Further again and you'll come across a metal staircase leading downwards. You'll hear the waterfall ahead from here.Once you have descended the staircase you will have to walk across some uneven rocky ground until you get to an area with a view of the waterfall.

The waterfall has a length of 500 meters and depth of 100 feet. Though the waterfall flows all year round it is best viewed from June to September. An interesting note about the waterfall is that it runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.The waterfalls modern name is constantly debated. It's official name is Patale Chhango. However it's most popularly known as Davis Falls or Devis Falls due to a typographical mistake

The basic objective for its establishment was made to record, document and chronicle the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general and to preserve the saga of the momentous feats in the history of mountaineering in the Himalayan peaks in particular. The foundation stone of IMM was laid on 1 Dec, 1995. The soft opening of IMM took place on 29 May, 2002 where it was officially opened on 5 Feb, 2004.Nepal's eight thousand meter high peaks records names of thousands of successful summiteers until now but its history is very young. Mountaineers M. Herzog and Louis Lachenal scaled up Annapurna on 3 June, 1950 and since then the records follow.And all its values and mysteries are showcased in the one and only Mountain Museum in the world - the International Mountain Museum, right at the footsteps of the Himalayan range, in Pokhara, Nepal.

Mahendra Cave is a cave located in Pokhara-16,batulechaur, Kaski district, close to the Kali khola,[1] is the large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites.[2] The cave attracts thousands of tourists every year.[3] A statue of Hindu lord Shiva can be found inside the cave.

Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple located in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in western Nepal. It is a hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located in a small island on the south east section of Phewa Lake in Pokhara. The temple is used for worship by Hindus.

The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from Sarangkot (foreigner/Nepali Rs 50/20) is almost a religious experience. From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. If you feel noisy teenagers are ruining the peace at the viewing tower, try walking further along to the secluded grassy helicopter pad. The main village is just below the ridge, but a set of steps leads uphill to a dramatic viewpoint, the site of an ancient kot (fort). There’s a ruined fort at Kaskikot (1788m), a one-hour walk west of Sarangkot along the ridge road, with similarly jaw-dropping views.

Sauraha is a village in Chitwan District of Nepal situated close by the Rapti River and the Chitwan National Park. Jungle walk is one the adventurous and entertaining activity of Chitwan National Park. One can walk through dense forest around the natural habitat of the wild animals during the jungle walk. The tourist and the guides are not allowed to carry any weapon during the walks but the guides offer tips for safety at the start of the walk. The danger of sudden encounter with wild animals is always present during the jungle walk.
