Note that public vehicles may not go directly to Chhermading, so you may need to hire a local taxi from Dolakha to reach Chhermading. For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kathmandu to Charikot. Buses leave regularly from the New Bus Park in Kathmandu and the journey takes about 6-7 hours. Once in Charikot, you can catch another bus or local jeep to Dolakha. From Dolakha, you will need to hire a taxi to take you to Chhermading Village. The total cost for the bus travel from Kathmandu to Charikot and then to Dolakha will be approximately NPR 500-700, and the taxi fare from Dolakha to Chhermading will be around NPR 3000-4000.
