If you are traveling by car, you can start from major cities in Terai like Birgunj or Nepalgunj. From Birgunj, head west on the Mahendra Highway (Hetauda - Birgunj Road) towards Hetauda. Continue on the highway until you reach the town of Chhoser. The cave is located in Chhoser, which is approximately 75 km from Birgunj. Ensure you have a GPS or map handy, as signposts may be limited. Upon entering Chhoser, ask locals for directions to Zhong Cave, as it is a popular tourist destination.
Public Transportation
To reach Zhong Cave using public transportation, take a bus from major cities in Terai such as Birgunj or Nepalgunj to Chhoser. Buses are frequent and affordable, costing around NPR 200-300 depending on your starting location. Once you arrive in Chhoser, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw to take you to Zhong Cave.
