If you are in the main town of Lo Manthang, you can hire a private vehicle or taxi to take you to Chhoser, where Zhong Cave is located. The drive is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Head southeast on the main road towards Chhoser. Upon reaching Chhoser, you will see signs directing you towards the cave, which is situated a short hike away from the village.

Public Transportation

From Lo Manthang, you can take a local jeep or bus heading towards Chhoser. The journey takes about 2 hours. Make sure to confirm the schedule as public transport can be irregular. Upon arrival in Chhoser, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Zhong Cave, which is about a 30-minute walk from the village. Be prepared for some uphill trekking.
