Walking
From De Pijp, begin by heading northeast on Ferdinand Bolstraat toward Van Woustraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Stadhouderskade. Here, turn right and cross the bridge over the canal. Once you reach the other side, continue straight on Stadhouderskade, which will turn into Muntplein. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rokin. Turn left onto Rokin and continue walking until you reach Dam Square. The National Monument will be directly in front of you.

Tram
If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch tram line 4, 12, or 25 from De Pijp. Board the tram at the nearest stop, either at Ferdinand Bolstraat or Van Woustraat. Ride the tram towards the direction of the city center (Centrum) and get off at the Dam stop. From there, the National Monument is just a short walk away; head towards Dam Square, and you will see the monument right in front of you. A single tram ticket costs around €3.20.

Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in De Pijp. Head northeast on Ferdinand Bolstraat and then take a left onto Stadhouderskade. Follow the bike lanes straight up to Dam Square. Be cautious of pedestrians and traffic. Once you arrive at Dam Square, park your bike at one of the designated bike parking areas nearby. Renting a bike typically costs around €10-€15 for a day.
