If you are in the Museumplein area, the Rijksmuseum is just a short walk away. From the main entrance of the Museumplein, head east towards the large building with the iconic I Amsterdam sign. Continue walking straight and you will see the Rijksmuseum on your left. The address is Museumstraat 1, 1071 XX Amsterdam. It should take you about 5-10 minutes to reach the museum on foot.

Bicycles are a popular mode of transport in Amsterdam. If you have rented a bike, exit Museumplein and head east towards the Rijksmuseum. There are bike lanes throughout the area. From anywhere in Museumplein, simply walk to the tram stop and take tram line 2 or 12 towards the 'Zuid' direction. Get off at the next stop, 'Rijksmuseum', which is just a 1-minute ride.
