If you are traveling by car, start by heading out of your current location in Bollenstreek towards the A4 motorway. Follow signs for the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 7 towards Alkmaar. Continue on the N242 road until you reach Alkmaar. Once in Alkmaar, follow signs to the city center. Vismarkt is located at 1811 JA Alkmaar, and there are several parking garages nearby, such as 'De Vest' or 'Koorstraat'. After parking, it's a short walk to Vismarkt.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in Bollenstreek to Alkmaar. Trains to Alkmaar run frequently, and the journey typically takes around 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar train station, exit the station and follow signs for the bus or walk. If you choose to walk, head north on Stationsweg, then turn right onto Verdronkenoord, following it until you reach the city center. Vismarkt will be on your left at 1811 JA Alkmaar. Buses also frequently service the route to the city center if you prefer that option.
