Car
If you are driving, start from the nearest major town in Drenthe, such as Assen or Emmen. From Assen, take the A28 highway towards Groningen. After about 20 km, take exit 16 towards Klazienaveen/Zwartemeer on the N862. Follow the N862 for approximately 15 km, then turn left onto Verlengde van Echtenskanaal Noordzijde. Continue straight for about 1 km, and you will arrive at Het Drentse Veenland located at Verlengde van Echtenskanaal Noordzijde 2, 7894 CG Zwartemeer. Note that parking is available near the destination, and there are no additional costs for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Het Drentse Veenland by public transportation, first take a train to Emmen station. From Emmen, transfer to bus line 22 (direction Zwartemeer) and disembark at the Zwartemeer, Verlengde van Echtenskanaal Noordzijde stop. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, walk about 5 minutes north along Verlengde van Echtenskanaal Noordzijde, and you will arrive at Het Drentse Veenland.
