Getting There

    If you are driving from the city center of Assen, take the N378 road heading towards Diever. Continue on N378 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Diever. Once in Diever, follow the signs to Drents-Friese Wold National Park. The entrance to the park is located at 8426 SJ Diever. There is parking available at the park entrance, and it is free of charge.

  • Public Transportation

    From Assen, take the train to Beilen station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Beilen, transfer to bus number 21 heading towards Diever. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Diever stop, which is close to the entrance of Drents-Friese Wold National Park. Please note that bus tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus, and prices may vary depending on the time of travel.
