From Egmond aan Zee, head southeast on Zeeweg toward Egmondseweg. Continue on Egmondseweg until you reach the N9 highway. Merge onto N9 toward Alkmaar. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward Hoorn. Continue onto N240, then follow the signs for Hoorn city center. Once you arrive in Hoorn, follow the signs for Binnenstad. Roode Steen will be on your left, and the Waag is located at Roode Steen 8.

Start by walking to the nearest bus stop in Egmond aan Zee (such as 'Egmond aan Zee, Zeeweg'). Take the bus line 166 towards Alkmaar. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Alkmaar, Station' stop. From Alkmaar station, take a train to Hoorn (approximately 20 minutes). Once you arrive at Hoorn station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Head straight on Stationsplein, then turn left onto Kerkstraat. Continue until you reach Roode Steen, where the Waag is located at Roode Steen 8.
