    Getting There

    Walking

    From Leiden Central Station, head southeast towards Stationsplein. Exit the station and turn left onto Stationsweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Haarlemmerstraat. Turn right onto Haarlemmerstraat and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. When you reach the end of Haarlemmerstraat, turn left onto Breestraat. Continue walking until you reach the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge, and you'll see the entrance to Begijnhof on your left.

    Bus

    At Leiden Central Station, take Bus 43 towards 'Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena'. It departs from the bus stop right outside the station. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Begijnhof. Head north on Bijlmerdreef, then turn left onto Bijlmerplein. Continue straight to reach the entrance to Begijnhof.

    Train

    From Leiden Central Station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Damrak. Walk straight along the Damrak until you reach the Dam Square. From Dam Square, head southwest on Kalverstraat until you reach the Spui. Turn left onto Spui, and then take the first right onto Begijnhof. The entrance to Begijnhof will be on your right.
