Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central train station (Leiden Centraal), exit the station and head towards the main road (Stationsweg). Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the first major intersection. At this intersection, turn right onto the Breestraat. Continue walking straight, and you will see the large church tower of Pieterskerk in the distance. Keep walking until you reach the Kloksteeg street sign on your left. Turn left onto Kloksteeg and walk straight for about 2 minutes; Pieterskerk will be on your right at Kloksteeg 16.

    If you are near the central area, you can take bus line 1 or 2 from the nearest bus stop (for example, at Breestraat). Board the bus heading towards 'Leiden, Lammenschans.' Get off at the stop 'Leiden, Breestraat.' From there, walk towards the Breestraat, turn left and walk straight ahead until you see Kloksteeg on your left. Turn left onto Kloksteeg and walk for about 2 minutes; Pieterskerk will be located at Kloksteeg 16.

Once you are on Breestraat, you can easily cycle towards the direction of the church tower visible at the end of the street.
