    If you are in the city center of Leiden, head towards the train station (Leiden Centraal). From there, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal station. Once at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the front where you will find a large square. From the square, walk straight down the Damrak street until you reach Dam Square. Continue walking straight onto Kalverstraat, which turns into Heiligeweg. Follow this street until you reach the Prinsengracht canal. Turn left and walk along the canal until you reach Prinsengracht 279, where the Westerkerk is located.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start by cycling towards the train station (Leiden Centraal) and take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. After arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, you can follow the same route as described for walking. It's about a 20-minute bike ride from Centraal to Westerkerk, mostly along the canals.
