If you get a chance download the tour app when you have wi-fi. If not, the process is still easy and fast. We didn’t have plans but had a short time in Leiden and this self guided tour was a perfect introduction. We didn’t have plans and did it on bikes and it took us to all the “must see” places and gave us context and history on their importance. We rode through some of the loveliest parts of the city where we stopped for lunch and could have easily explored more. A really cost effective, personalized was to access an unfamiliar city. We left feeling lucky to have stumbled on this fun, informative tour.

Custom Windmill Canal Tour
Highly recommend this company for a Leiden canal tour! We requested a custom tour for a group of nine with a focus on windmills. Jonathan delivered a perfect three-hour itinerary starting in the city center that took us out to see nine windmills. Our skipper was very hospitable and highly knowledgeable about the local area, and the team even provided packets with details about each windmill. We were looking forward to the included pizza, beer, and wine and were delighted to see that Jonathan included juices and soft drinks for those in our party who don’t drink alcohol and also surprised us with extra snacks and desserts.

Leiden & Delft: Half-Day Private Tour including Transfer
Perfect half day exploring Leiden and Delph!
Linda was the perfect guide, host and ambassador! I’ve been to Leiden several times for work and wanted to learn more about the city and its history. Linda did that and much more as I was also introduced to Delph, a short train ride from Leiden, the city with historical significance and famous for its Blue Delph ceramics. After the tour was over, I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Delph on my own. A super bonus was we had spectacular weather. Not too hot or cold. I would highly recommend this tour and Linda!
