Getting There

    From the central train station (Leiden Centraal), exit the station and head south towards the main street, Stationsweg. Turn left onto Stationsweg and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass through the city center and see several shops and cafes. As you walk, look for signs directing you to the bus station. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Hogewoerd. Turn right onto Hogewoerd and follow it until you reach the bridge over the water. Cross the bridge and continue straight, which will lead you into the city’s historic area. After a few minutes, you will see a large square on your left, called the Beestenmarkt. Keep walking straight, and then turn left onto the Kleine Hoogstraat. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Rijn. Cross over and continue straight on the Breestraat. After a few more minutes, you will arrive at Waalse Kerk, located at Begijnhof 28 in Haarlem.

You will pass by several notable landmarks. Keep straight until you reach the Breestraat. From there, cycle straight until you find Waalse Kerk at Begijnhof 28 in Haarlem.

    Walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Leiden Centraal', located right outside the train station. Take bus line 50 towards Haarlem. The bus will take you directly to Haarlem. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Haarlem, Begijnhof' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Waalse Kerk. Head east on Begijnhof and you will find the church at number 28.
