Getting There

  • Car

    From Zaanse Schans, head south on Zaanse Schans towards the N516 road. Turn left onto the N516, and continue for approximately 11 km. Merge onto the A8 motorway heading towards Amsterdam. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for S100 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on S100, following signs for Amsterdam-West. After about 3 km, take the exit towards Haarlemmerweg/N200. Follow Haarlemmerweg, and then turn right onto the Marnixstraat. Continue straight until you reach Ten Kateplein. Parking may be available in nearby garages, but be aware of parking fees in the area.

    From Zaanse Schans, walk to the nearest bus stop (Zaanse Schans) and take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. From there, transfer to the train heading towards Amsterdam Centraal. After about 10 minutes, disembark at Amsterdam Centraal. From the train station, take tram line 7 towards Slotermeer, and get off at the Ten Katestraat stop. Ten Kateplein is just a short walk from the tram stop.
