Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from Zaanstreek, head southeast on the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Follow signs for the A10 ring road and merge onto the A10. Take exit 14 to merge onto the S116 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on the S116 until you reach the city center. Look for parking facilities nearby, such as the 'Q-Park Dam' which is a short walk from De Utrecht. Please note that parking fees apply, typically around €3.50 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  Start by heading to the nearest train station in Zaanstreek, such as Zaandam or Krommenie-Assendelft. Purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Central Station (approximately €5.50 for a one-way journey). Once on the train, it's about a 15 to 25-minute ride depending on your starting point. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the Damrak. De Utrecht is located at Damrak 28, just a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow signs leading directly to the Damrak, and you will find your destination on the right.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Zaanstreek. You can catch bus line 391 towards Amsterdam, which takes you directly to Amsterdam Central Station. The bus journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Amsterdam Central Station, exit and head towards the Damrak. Walk for about 10 minutes to reach De Utrecht at Damrak 28. Keep in mind that bus fares typically range from €2.90 to €5.00 depending on the distance.
