Once in Gerlach, follow signs for Fly Ranch Geyser, which is located approximately 5 miles north of town off of a dirt road. Please note that a high-clearance vehicle may be required to navigate the unpaved roads.

    Public Transportation

    Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Gerlach. You can take a Greyhound bus to Reno and then rent a car to drive to Gerlach. From Reno, head north on I-580 N, then merge onto US-395 N. Follow US-395 N to the junction with NV-34 W. Continue on NV-34 W toward Gerlach. Once in Gerlach, you’ll need to arrange for transportation (e.g., taxi, rideshare) to reach Fly Ranch Geyser, which is about 5 miles north of town.
