Car
If you are driving, start from Overton, NV. Head northeast on NV-169 N (Valley of Fire Hwy) for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for the Valley of Fire State Park. Once you reach the entrance of the park, there is a small fee of $10 per vehicle for a day pass. After paying, continue on Valley of Fire Hwy for another 3 miles until you reach Atlatl Rock, which will be on your left. Look for the parking area.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Atlatl Rock are limited. However, you can take a bus to Las Vegas and then catch a shuttle service to the Valley of Fire State Park. Once you arrive at the park, either walk or use the park shuttle service to reach Atlatl Rock. Note that the shuttle services may vary, so it's best to check in advance for schedules and costs.
Walking
If you are already within the Valley of Fire State Park, you can walk to Atlatl Rock from the parking area. There are clear walking paths and signs guiding you to the rock. The distance is about a quarter mile from the parking lot, so wear comfortable shoes.
