Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Lake Mead National Recreation Area, take the North Shore Road (NV-167) towards Overton. Continue on NV-167 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with Valley of Fire Highway (NV-169). Turn left onto NV-169 and follow the signs toward Valley of Fire State Park. Mouse's Tank is located within the park. There is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle. Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the Mouse's Tank trailhead, which is well-marked. The trail is approximately a 1-mile round trip.

Public Transportation
Currently, there is no direct public transportation service to Mouse's Tank. However, you can take a Greyhound bus or other regional bus service to Las Vegas, Nevada. From Las Vegas, you would need to rent a car or arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lake Mead National Recreation Area and then proceed as outlined above. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules and availability prior to your trip.
