Car
If you are starting from the main visitor center in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, head east on Lakeshore Road (NV-167) towards the exit of the park. Continue on NV-167 until you reach the junction with NV-93. Merge onto NV-93 North and follow the signs for US-93. Continue on US-93 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the Moapa Valley exit. Take the exit and turn left onto Moapa Valley Blvd. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you see signs for King Kong Rock. The parking area is available nearby.

Public transportation options are limited in the Lake Mead area. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Las Vegas. From Las Vegas, you can rent a car or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach King Kong Rock. The drive from Las Vegas to King Kong Rock will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may not be frequent.

Start from the nearest trailhead, which is accessible from Moapa Valley Blvd. The hike is moderate and takes about 1 hour, depending on your pace.
