Car
If you are traveling by car within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, start by ensuring you are on NV-159 (W Charleston Blvd) heading towards the conservation area. Once you enter the park, pay the entrance fee (cost is around $15 per vehicle, valid for 7 days). Continue driving along the scenic loop road until you reach the First Creek Trailhead, which is located just off the main road. Look for the signs indicating the trailhead, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Las Vegas to the Red Rock Canyon area. Use the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus service to reach the nearest stop. From the closest bus stop, you will need to arrange for a rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the First Creek Trailhead, as there are no direct public transit options to the trailhead itself. Make sure to check the RTC website for current routes and schedules. This option may incur costs for both the bus fare and rideshare service.

For those who prefer biking, you can bike along the scenic loop road. You will need to enter the park through NV-159. Keep in mind that the loop is approximately 13 miles long, and there are designated bike lanes. After paying the entrance fee, enjoy the ride until you reach the First Creek Trailhead. Ensure you have a good bike lock and gear, as there are limited facilities once you are at the trailhead.
