Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving within Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, head towards the Scenic Loop Drive. The Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center is located at 1000 Scenic Loop Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89161. Follow the signs for the Visitor Center as you enter the Scenic Loop. The center is about 1.5 miles from the entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entry fee to access the Visitor Center.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the RTC bus route 214 from the Las Vegas Strip to the nearest stop at the intersection of Charleston Blvd and Red Rock Canyon Rd. From there, you can call for a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) or a taxi to take you to the Visitor Center. The distance from the bus stop to the Visitor Center is approximately 10 miles, and expect to pay around $15-25 for the rideshare service.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, there are bike paths leading into Red Rock Canyon. If you start from the parking area at the entrance of the Scenic Loop Drive, it is a scenic 1.5-mile ride to the Visitor Center. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, especially during warmer months.

• Walking

  If you are already within Red Rock Canyon and wish to walk, you can take the trails that lead to the Visitor Center from various points in the park. However, the best route is from the entrance along the Scenic Loop Drive, which is about 1.5 miles. Walking is only recommended for those prepared for the desert environment with proper hydration and sun protection.
