Car
To reach Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area by car, start by exiting the Red Rock Canyon entrance onto NV-159 W. Continue on NV-159 W for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with NV-160 E. Turn left onto NV-160 E. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with I-215. Merge onto I-215 N and follow the signs for Henderson. Take exit 10 for Eastern Ave and turn left onto Eastern Ave. Continue south on Eastern Ave for about 6 miles, then turn right onto E. Pabco Rd. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Nawghaw, Poa Road. Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area will be on your right. Note that there are no fees to enter the area.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start your journey by taking the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus from the Red Rock Canyon area to the Las Vegas Strip. From there, transfer to bus route 109 towards Henderson. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the intersection of Eastern Ave and Pabco Rd. From this stop, you will need to walk about 2 miles to reach the entrance of Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. Make sure to check the RTC website for the latest schedules and fares, which typically cost around $2 per ride.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start from Red Rock Canyon and head east on NV-159. After about 5 miles, turn left onto NV-160 E. Continue for 10 miles before merging onto I-215 N. Use the bike lanes where available, and be cautious of traffic. The total distance is about 25 miles, so it is advisable to start early in the day and bring plenty of water. Arriving at Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area by bicycle is free of charge.
