City Plaza: The Heart of Reno's Urban Oasis

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already in Downtown Reno, head towards Virginia Street. City Plaza is located at 30 N Virginia St. From any point in downtown, simply find your way to Virginia Street. Once you reach Virginia Street, walk north. City Plaza will be on your left side, just a few blocks away. Look for the large open park area, which is easily identifiable.

• Public Transit (RTC Ride)

  If you are further from the immediate area and wish to take public transit, you can use the RTC Ride bus service. Find the nearest bus stop and check the RTC Ride app or website for the bus routes that serve Downtown Reno. Buses that go to the Virginia Street area include routes 1 and 16. The fare for a single ride is $2.00, and you can purchase tickets at the bus stop or via the RTC app. Once you arrive at a stop on Virginia Street, disembark and walk a short distance north to City Plaza at 30 N Virginia St.

• Biking

  For those who prefer cycling, Reno has bike lanes and bike-sharing programs. Locate a nearby bike share station and rent a bike. Head towards Virginia Street and ride north until you reach City Plaza at 30 N Virginia St. Be sure to follow traffic rules and bike lane regulations. Most bike share programs charge around $3.00 for a single ride, or you can choose a daily pass.
