From Reno, NV, take US-395 South for approximately 30 miles. Merge onto NV-431 West (Mount Rose Highway) and continue for about 12 miles. Turn left onto NV-28 South and follow the signs to Sand Harbor. The park entrance will be on your right at 2005 NV-28, Incline Village, NV 89452. Note that there is a parking fee of $10 for vehicles.

Start at the Reno Amtrak Station and take the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus route 19 towards Incline Village. This route connects to the local transport system.
