Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hienghene and head southeast on Route de Hienghene toward Ste. Therese. Continue on this road for approximately 10 km. You will pass through several scenic areas, so be sure to enjoy the views. Once you reach the junction near Ste. Therese, look for signs indicating the direction to Cascade de Saint Thomas. Turn left onto the road leading to the waterfall. Follow this road for about 3 km until you see the designated parking area for Cascade de Saint Thomas. Note that the road may be unpaved, so take it slow and watch for any potholes.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the local bus service from Hienghene to Ste. Therese. Buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Ste. Therese, you may need to hire a taxi or a local ride-sharing service to reach Cascade de Saint Thomas, as it is a few kilometers away from the bus stop. The taxi fare may vary, but budget around 1,500 to 2,500 CFP francs for the ride. Confirm with the driver that they know the location before starting your journey.
