If you are driving from the center of Hienghene, start by heading southeast on Route de Hienghene towards Népou. Continue on this road for approximately 16 km. You will see signs directing you towards Cascade de Saint Thomas. As you approach, look for the intersection where the road forks. Take the left fork, which leads to Ste. Therese. The trailhead is located at coordinates 26PH+7J, Ste.Therese, New Caledonia. There is no parking fee, but ensure you find a safe spot to park your vehicle off the road.
Public Transportation
From the main bus station in Hienghene, board a bus heading towards Ste. Therese. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver of your stop at Cascade de Saint Thomas. Once you arrive, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to the trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends. The bus fare is usually around 200 XPF (Pacific Franc).
Taxi
